KARNATAK COLLEGE Is A Very Well Known Premier Institution Founded In 1917, To Meet The Higher Educational, Intellectual And Cultural Aspirations Of The People Of The North Karnatak Region By The Then Government Of Bombay Presidency. The Platinum Jubilee Was Celebrated In The Year 1998 And The College Will Be Celebrating Its 100th Anniversary In 2017.
SINCE 1958, The Karnatak College Has Become A Constituent College Of The Karnatak University For Administrative Purposes. It was bifurcated As Karnatak Arts College And Karnatak Science College, But They Continue To Serve Unitedly The Goal Of Excellence In Education In Diverse Fields Such As Languages, Social Sciences, Pure Sciences And Also Applied Fields Such As Commerce, Computer Applications, Business Management, Tourism Administration Etc., The Arts College Is Housed In A Magnificent Heritage Building In A Large Green Campus In Serene Surroundings.
